Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center

I rarely write online reviews, but the care my father and our family received here truly deserves the highest recognition. My dad was an inpatient for nearly a full week at the newer Dahlonega location before he passed away on May 7th. I wish I could fully express how much this incredible team helped my father, my family, and me personally during one of the hardest times of our lives. Every single person we encountered was profoundly attentive, compassionate, and kind. They made sure my dad was comfortable every moment, treating him with dignity, gentleness, and genuine care. What affected us just as deeply was the way they cared for our family, too. They supported us emotionally, answered every question with patience, and somehow made an unbearable situation feel a little less impossible. No one ever wants to need hospice care, but I can wholeheartedly say this team is extraordinary. They are a true blessing, and our family will never forget the compassion they showed us during my father’s final days.

What an incredible group of professionals. They provided excellent care and services to my Daddy, Joseph S. Parker during his time of need. They were respectful, knowledgeable, attentive, compassionate, empathetic and caring to both he and I during his journey to his eternal home. His care team - Tom, Patricia, and Brad were the absolute best - angels on earth! The hospice group continues to be a source of encouragement to me during this time of grief. I cannot imagine a better hospice care team. Thank you!

The NGMC hospice care was amazing. I wish that the rooms were a tad more, cozy and less empty feeling but that's the only thing I could possibly complain about. The nurses were amazing and they were so thorough and attentive. They called me every 4 hours with updates and just kindness that was above and beyond. Losing my wife to cancer was the hardest thing I've ever had to do...I could not have done it without the kindness and professionalism of the entire NGMC Hospice staff. Thankyou NGMC hospice, clergy and thankyou to Dr Warmker one floor below hospice also...NGMC in general has been fantastic every time we have been there for any reason.
