How awful. Hospice will trick you into thinking your loved one is about to die when your loved one still has quality time left on this earth with the right good quality care of course. They will scam you into thinking they care about their patients needs and wants when they don’t as they don’t grant their patients wishes by ignoring what their patient has to say to the point of taking away their voice and or ignoring the patient all together. They ignore their patients families words and feelings as well. They make the patients caregivers or family members do all the care for the patient. They don’t care about people’s rights. They don’t let their patients have their final good quality years or months of their lives when they ignore what their patient wants. Once you hire them they do not leave your life even if you tell them you don’t want their services anymore. They just want your money. How sickening. Please don’t hire these people. Ambercare, please be a business of morals, values, and care or leave us alone.
My grampa is on amber care and we haven’t had a good experience one of our first medical emergencies that we had, when we called hospice they said it would take them two to three hours to get here and when we went to the hospital they said he would’ve died if we didn’t take him when we did and they were gonna make us wait two to three hours. Then the girl who told us she was gonna take two or three hours. Then she told her boss that she only told us it was gonna be an hour. Then another time my grampa's hand was swelling and they didn’t do shit they check on him and said he’ll be ok but his hand is still swollen.
I would never recommend this place for caring for your elderly loved ones. The caregiver never shows up and comes whenever they feel like it. This place has poor management and doesn't care about the patients. They borrow money from their patients. The caregivers do the bare minimum of their job duties. I would never recommend this place to anyone. These people depend on caregivers for basic daily duties, medication, bathing, cleaning up, and laundry. Unfortunately, this company sees these patients as money. A business should not be allowed to operate in these conditions.

Other important resources for families
Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
