My husband was under the hospice care of Affinity for a few months, until I fired them. The provider Stanley Shadid not only never saw my husband, but never spoke to me/our family although we requested that. At one time, I was suppose to be called during a staff meeting to discuss my husband's care. Not only was I not ever called, but waited for 3 hours for a call. Finally called them only to hear "oh sorry, Dr didn't believe he needed to talk to you". Horrible service and no communication at all. They did not agree with any of our med changes which were DEF needed because he was end-stage bvFTD and in and out of memory care facilities as well as pysch wards. Do yourself and your family a favor, do NOT use this company! Ever! We did not pick them, they were assigned through his new memory care facility. You have a choice in hospice care. Choose wisely

This end of life agency provided love and care for my auntie the last month of her life. And they were as much a support system for me as they were for her. I love Sara and Tricia and Crystal and Julia and their Social Worker Cristin. They are there for the family, physically and emotionally! They have now placed one of their clients who needed housing with me. I treasure the trust and friendship I have with these people who listen to the spirit when they’re being guided. Love, love.

Tricia was the best at explaining and handling my mother's hospice care. Initially, my brother and I had gone with another hospice provider, but after several lapses in service with the first company, I decided to switch, and Tricia made it happen and elevated the care and comfort for my mother the last couple of months of her life. If you need info., services, or guidance Tricia with Affinity care is the person you want! Tricia, if you read this I just want to say that your work was greatly appreciated, and I can never thank you enough for supporting my family at the end of my mother's journey through life.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
