Horrible! Everything is locked down as far as doors go except the ER and signs tell you to check in at the desk. Upon entering we stopped at the front desk and started by saying “Hi..” ,this bigger older lady working the desk responded with, “Yeah??”. It came across as if she was being bothered. Maybe don’t have signs everywhere telling you to check in at the front desk or don’t put the least friendly and unhelpful person there? Eventually I was able to get directions to go further through the double doors which didn’t get any better. The staff there were dismissive and rude. Several years ago this hospital was wonderful. It’s really gone down the drain. At this point, I think just shutting it down would be the best option since these employees seem to hate their jobs so much anyway.

For a small town hospital it is what you expect in the current Healthcare system. Under staffed and neglected. But it is nice to have an emergency option. Even if it is just stabilizing a patient for transfer. All the staff we had helping us was very nice. They did an excellent job with the very hostile patient we all heard cusing and threatening them that was also there at the same time. They remained very professional with him and did a great job not taking that energy to the rest of the patients.

I went there about a year ago with a lump on my shoulder didn’t take long to get in. The nurses being very friendly and the doctor wow he was great took his time to talk to me explain he had to cut it open and drain it. I wish he was a doctor around he with an office because I would definitely see him. Also was there about two years ago with heart problems they took me straight to the back they was great then. Don’t know where the negative reviews are going from

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section.
