Most Recent Reviews
I waited a month to write this so it would not come across as an emotional reaction. Unfortunately, time has not changed my perspective. Our experience with Russell Murray Hospice was deeply disappointing from the very beginning. After making the difficult decision to begin hospice care for our father, we were left waiting nearly 24 hours for a return call. That lack of responsiveness set the tone for everything that followed. We expected professionalism and an understanding of the gravity of the situation. Instead, we experienced a pattern of poor communication and missed commitments — from inappropriate bedside demeanor, to delayed and poorly communicated medications, to gaps in basic care supplies. The most difficult failures came after our father passed. Calls were not returned, response times were slow, and the process lacked urgency at a moment when it mattered most. This was not just our impression. Experienced caregivers in the home, including a former nurse, were equally concerned and confirmed that this is not how hospice care should operate. At every stage — from the initial call to the final moments — our experience was defined by delays, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. Hospice care should support and guide families through one of the most difficult times in their lives with clarity, urgency, and respect. That is not what we experienced.
They are definitely a great hospice company.from the very first day my sister went on hospice and even after she passed away they was there every step of the way not just for her but for our family as well. I do want to give a huge shout out to Pam for always going above and beyond.also to the hospice aid Carly for making my sisters last days not so scary for her.
Wonderful caring staff. I greatly appreciated each and everyone who came out to help my husband in his last days. I highly recommend this company. Thank you!!
