Community Hospice - Palatka

Under extremely urgent and difficult circumstances my 89 year old mom had to leave her New Hampshire Hospice team and come to live in Florida with my husband and I. Mom arrived at midnight and early in the morning her new Hospice team arrived, her medical equipment arrived early afternoon as well as all of her medications. After everything that happened to my mom in New Hampshire she was extremely distrustful of people. We were able to convey all of mom's fears with everyone that was involved with her care and the team did everything in their power to help mom feel safe again and they succeeded beyond our expectations ❤️. Mom was only here for six short months. I was her 24/7 caretaker with my husbands help as mom couldn't walk and needed assistance with everything. The team, each and everyone of them from the Nurses, the CNAs, social worker, Chaplin, the medical supply drivers who made sure that mom had a small transfer chair and made sure that she had a temporary replacement to the medication delivery drivers to the night emergency nurse who mom never got to meet and I can't forget to mention moms massage lady. As a family my husband myself and mom never had any problems getting answers to our questions, we never had any questions about the quality of care and compassion that we received as we witnessed it 💜 The people who work here are extremely dedicated and compassionate. If I could I would give them more than 5 stars 🌟

Karrie the cna and Allison the nurse who come to take care of my dad are the best. They both go above and beyond what they need to do. They are amazing if you are in need of hospice care for anyone go with community hospice.

The team at Palatka Community Hospice has been incredible, especially Allison and Kerrie. They are truly wonderful nurses—kind, compassionate, and professional in every way. Their care and support have meant so much to our family, and we honestly don’t know what we would do without them.
