Ashley Dohrn has been absolutely AMAZING through this process with my mom at Solaris here in Lake City, FL. She goes above and beyond and has answered every call, even on the weekends when we had questions. The nurses here are truly walking and working in their giftings and what they do daily is so much more than a job it’s a calling. You guys have no idea the gift that each one of you have given to me and my family. You guys are precious ! And Ashley special kudos to you, you are awesome !

I had a representative show up after being referred and he told me they are a big company and could get my dad the care he needed. I explained that I needed help with daily chores such as shaving, changing clothes, and moving him from one chair to another. They said after an assessment he would have an aid sent right away. It took over a week and the only people who showed up were nurses to take his blood pressure and leave. I seldom recieved a return call. I cancelled and I am going with a home care and I will check the reviews before choosing. The nurses were nice but it was not what I was told I would get.

If you are in need of hospice or palliative services look no further! No other company can top Vitas care! The care and compassion the staff have for their patients is undeniably amazing! They understand the importance of being there when they are called. This is so important when dealing with a delicate situation like hospice care. They will by far exceed any expectations you may have for your loved ones end of life care.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
