I would like to express my deepest gratitude and recognition for Terri Richards, who cared for my grandmother during her hospice journey. Terri has been an absolute blessing to our family during one of the most difficult and emotional times of our lives. Her compassion, patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness went far beyond what we could have ever expected. She cared for my grandmother with such dignity, respect, and tenderness, always ensuring she was comfortable and treated with love. Not only did Terri provide exceptional nursing care, but she also offered comfort and support to our entire family. She took the time to answer questions, explain medications and procedures, and help us navigate the challenges of end-of-life care with confidence and peace of mind. Her calm presence brought reassurance during moments of fear and uncertainty. What stood out most was her heart. It was evident in every interaction that she truly cared—not just as a nurse, but as a compassionate human being. Terri treated my grandmother as if she were her own family, and that is something we will never forget. Please know that Terri has made a lasting impact on our family. She represents the very best of what hospice care should be, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication and service. I want to deeply thank the Hospice team for all their support. From the person who delivered and picked up the medical equipment, to the nurses Tania, George, Novy, Jim, and Nathalie; these are just a few of the names I can recall right now, but those I may have missed were no less important in their dedication to accompanying us through this process. Thank you for your kindness and understanding. Even though my family doesn't speak English well, you were always willing to explain everything to us with patience. A special thanks to Chelsea for always staying on top of the daily nursing visits, and to Susan for her compassion and for checking in on how we were doing as a family. I want to commend Vitas for assisting with care of a family member. I must admit we had a rocky start as communication was lacking. However after being assigned to rep./Nurse Natalie everything seems to flow. The nursing home was poor with communication and had it not been for Natalie and her professionalism I would be lost. She listened to the family needs and always try to assist. She would call 2-3 times per week with an update. She made VItas a better company. I hope she get all the accolades and rewards that she is deserving of.
