My brother has schizophrenia and they took him off his schizophrenia medicine and the only medicine he receives is his pain medicine and agitation so his schizophrenia has been worse. He can’t remember stuff from 5 Seconds to the next because of the cancer. He’s losing weight rapidly even though he’s being fed and we give him ensure. The CNA that I thought was so helpful has reported me twice to adult protective services saying that I’m starving my brother, which I am not. Half the time when I call for help they try to talk me through what they’re supposed to come do themselves. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I would not wish this Hospice company on someone I didn’t even like, much less a loved one. Thankfully, my sheriff personally knows us and what we’ve been going through so they know that I’ve not been starving him. In my opinion, the CNA should be fired for false reports.

My husband was on hospice for a very short time and I was not worried about his care. They were very attentive, explained everything they were doing, & made him very comfortable through a very uncomfortable situation. The staff was incredible. I couldn't have asked for better!

They were there when the doctor turned off breathing tube for my son. They promised me the moon. That was a Thursday. I called several times and left messages with no response. I found out later I they were closed until the following Tuesday, due to President's Day. The case worker at the hospital called and left messages with them. No response. After numuous calls, the social worker called me. I think she was nice and said she would find out the answer I needed and who to speak with. Nothing. They promised the moon and gave NOTHING. Will be with me for a year???? No ma'am.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section.
