Wow!!! I cannot say enough about Amedisys Hospice in Kennesaw! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. It all started when my mother's health started deteriorating and our family did not want her to go into a nursing home. We wanted to take care of her at home until she passed away. She was becoming very ill and that's when Amedisys Hospice stepped in. Our mom was assigned a very kind and friendly nurse named Kelly D. She really took her time with our Mom and I was amazed at how thorough and diligent she was in her work. We were so impressed with her that I specifically requested her when our father was very ill with chf and suffering from a bad fall. There are other nurses there that are amazing also such as Caitlyn who always made my dad laugh and another nurse Kelly that did an excellent job. If you are wanting to care for your elderly parents and need extra help Amedisys Hospice is the way to go!!!
I cannot say enough about the care and support we received from Amedysis Hospice. They were an incredible and intricate part of the support structure with the care of our Mom and Dad, each having different types of dementia. The nurses, the chaplain, Caitlyn our CNA was amazing. Carol was so supportive when we did the admission for both Mom and Dad. The entire administrative team. We were so grateful to the team at Amedysis. We are so thankful for the care, love and support they gave mom and dad and our whole family! We highly recommend them when it comes to Hospice care. Thank you for everything 💗💗
In the most difficult moments of mine and Duaine’s life we felt the presents and comfort of God when we needed him the most. Caitlyn and Kelly D were the biggest part of this for not only Duaine but for me as well. This was more than just a job for them. This is a calling! When I needed either of them they were just a phone call away. They listened they were very compassionate, caring, very gentle, always listened, spent the time and took very good care of my husband. I couldn’t have ever asked for anyone to take better care of my husband or to be there for me during this time of need. It was absolutely divine intervention when hospice sent them to us.
