My family just had the best interaction with our Clinical Liaison today. She was patient, knowledgeable, caring and an overall great person to be around while answering no all of our questions with detail.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care and support my husband and I have received from your hospice team. Our CNA, Lynette, has been wonderful. She bathes my husband twice each week and always treats him with kindness, patience, and dignity. Because of his dementia, he can sometimes become irritable and resistant to care. Lynette never becomes frustrated. Instead, she speaks to him calmly, helps him feel at ease, and gently redirects him until he is comfortable. Her understanding and compassion have made a tremendous difference in his care and in my peace of mind. I would also like to recognize our nurse, Corey. She has been absolutely outstanding, just as our first nurse, Patrice, was. Corey consistently demonstrates patience, professionalism, and genuine empathy. She carefully follows up on my husband’s medications and medical supplies to ensure that everything we need is available. What impresses me most is her dedication beyond her scheduled visits. Even on her days off, she stays in contact when needed and checks on my husband’s well-being. Her commitment to her patients and their families is truly remarkable. As the primary caregiver for my husband, I am deeply grateful for the support, compassion, and professionalism shown by Lynette, Corey, and Patrice. Their care has helped make a very difficult journey more manageable for both of us. Please accept my heartfelt thanks and recognize these individuals for the outstanding work they do. They represent the very best of hospice care.
I can truly say that my experience with Gentiva has been a good one. My husband is currently in hospice, and I have appreciated our nurses being concerned and caring.
