Can only relay our own experiences…seems like others have had better ones but my father is in “in home” hospice which consists of someone coming by the house twice a week to take his blood pressure, which has been normal for 86 years, and another person coming to the house 3 times a week to help him shower, something he does with no assistance whatsoever when they don’t show up. They do provide his meds and nutrition…when we hound them to do so. It takes an act of congress to get them to do it but to their credit they have only been late with deliveries about half the time. They don’t give meds, they don’t do anything as far as his feeding. The one thing they do get consistently correct is billing Medicare for about $8,000 a month according to his EOBs. I don’t know if they’re any better or worse than any other providers but I do know for what they do they are billing Medicare a LOT of money every month.

Southeast Hospice has and continues to provide the BEST care for my mom and myself as her caretaker. Not one person that has come through has had a poor attitude. Everyone is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough for their continued support in this season of life. If you unfortunately have to use their services, know that you are making the best choice for your loved one with Southeast Hospice.

Southeast Hospice took care of my aunt as if she were part of their family. Every single person from Southeast that I encountered were so qualified and compassionate with my aunt and me. You could not ask for a higher quality team to help you in a very difficult time. ♥️

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section.
