Sympathy Care Hospice of Roswell, GA was recommended (for my wife who was suffering from Dementia) to our family after two unsatisfactory experiences with other hospice organizations. Unlike other corporate hospice providers, Sympathy is co-owned and operated locally by two, hospice-experienced, Registered Nurses, Ryan and Nazzi. The staff they have put together is amazing. Dedicated, caring professionals who provide patient’s physical needs with dignity; their aggression with distraction; their confusion with understanding; their family with compassion and honest explanation. When we found it necessary to move my wife from a facility that could not properly care for her, the new facility could not accept her due to uncategorized sores on her heels. The Executive Director of the new facility recommended we call Sympathy, suggesting that Ryan might be able to heal the sores so she could be accepted. In two months, his intensive magic did the trick, and we moved to a much better memory care situation. The Sympathy on-site RN, Alicia, at the new facility was a God send. Her professional care, compassion, and personal involvement with my wife, and our family, was beyond expectations. CNA Arthurine’s day-to-day individual whole-person care made my wife’s last months as comfortable as possible. The support staff, including Suzzie (sales), Marni (social worker) and Rafael (Chaplin), were there for me and our family anytime we needed them. If the primary goals of Hospice include humane pain management, comfort in confusion, and dignity as death nears, the Sympathy Care Hospice providers personify those goals, and our family will forever be grateful for their care.

Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about Sympathy Care Hospice. We moved our dear 100 year-old aunt to Grace Senior Living in Woodstock for the final month of her life and she was cared for with the most loving care, tenderness, and expertise imaginable. The communication with everyone at Sympathy was perfect and everyone we encountered were truly angels in every sense. We are sorry that we did not have more time under their care. We highly, HIGHLY recommend!!

I cannot say enough positive things about Sympathycare Hospice. My relative had a difficult, and prolonged end of life and Sympathycare Hospice was there for the entire year-long experience. The director, the nurses, and the aides could not have been better to my relative. They were beyond patient with my questions, and with emotional support for us. They responded quickly to all of my calls, reliably communicated all changes, and advised how to handle each step. Sympathycare took care of my loved one perfectly. All of the staff were special people.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
