I was told that I would be able to send My father here when I needed, whenever I needed a little break or if issues come about I was skeptical of sending him but due to my plumbing been down really bad to where we couldn't use the toilet, kitchen or shower I needed him to be place their until I was able to handle things at home but I received a call with them telling me that I needed to come stay with him make this make sense trying to get my plumbing fixed mind you they supposed to have doctor there to help calming my father down from agitation of being in a new environment but they sent him home and my plumbing still wasn't working and I told them but they didn't Care weather or not if he's able to be feed, take an shower or being feed all they cared if I or if I could get someone to come and stay the night with him now mind you being in the program there's supposed to be a CNA come out to your house to sit and help with him but they don't have a sitter for time like this but they're worried about his safety at the facility but not worry about at home care it's just sad when you have A dementia parent there's no help if your parents are not bedridden they don't deal with elders unless they don't move and has to have an IV from my understanding

My father passed from lung cancer, and Margaret (the nurse taking care of him) put in an unnecessary catheter, making him writhe in pain the last hours he had. She paid no mind while he was screaming in pain and stayed at the nurse desk. It took my fiancé to go get her and bring her to him. My father passed around 6:30 and she left at 7, the new nurse found him. SHE DIDNT EVEN CHECK on him before she left. This has caused me very much anguish, as I was only 18 in December. I have constant thoughts of my fathers mistreatment in his last hours. Very sad. Take your loved one to the Kennesaw location.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
