I would leave a negative 10 stars if I could, my aunt was in hospice care at our home, the nurses did show up, the only help my wife got was the nurse that did the bathing, everything else was on us, they did get supplies and hospital equipment, and after it is all said and done, we got something else….. BEDBUGS, the whole time the staff was in and out of our home, all we heard was how nice and beautiful our house was, and now we are ripping out carpet, baseboards and have to have the house exterminated for the pests that your company and/or whoever you contracted to bring equipment in here, brought into our home. We called, there is a note on our file, no one has called back, I can amend this if need be, but I am doubtful that I will ever hear from this company, maybe they will show up in court for their appearance, I am out thousands right now to undo what their carelessness has caused. Not happy, still waiting for a call, typical big business….. So, finally speaking to a live person, 100% deniability, at first she said this was the first time anyone has reported that and that she has never heard of this happening, then goes on claiming I could have picked them up outside of my home, blah blah blah, even though acknowledging that they go into some dirty places, I was told if they knew that bad bugs were present, they would have wore protective clothing and taken precautionary measures, which is like closing the gate after all the cows got out. Great conversation though, if you like talking in circles, absolutely denied any of her staff has any of these problems, of course if they do, I’m sure critters will be left as “gifts” for others like we received. This is one of those situations that you don’t know how bad it is till it happens to you, it’s tough to get rid of, the lady I spoke with blew it off like everyone has this, well, we didn’t till their company or the equipment company that they contracted with showed up. Even the guys delivering and picking up the equipment said that they have seen bugs falling out of the rental equipment. So be aware, no one cares about YOU, we are just the little people in this game, these companies are billing Medicare/medicade thousands of dollars, that’s what this is all about, money.

Daughter was signed up for Ohio Valley Hospice through the James Center. Took them a week to contact and do paperwork. It’s been almost another week to see anyone for pain management. Daughter in a lot of pain. Switched to Hospice of Dayton and in one day had pain starting to be controlled. Will not recommend Ohio Valley Hospice to anyone

Erin and Jen were incredible. Erin especially. She was there with us for 24 hours Richard's last day. She came Friday at 5a and came back at 9p that evening. She was there when we arrived Saturday morning and stayed until Richard passed at 10a Sunday. It's not easy to go through a loss, but your team surely lessened the load. They were kind, considerate, thoughtful and caring. Thank you for all you do.
