To anyone navigating the incredibly difficult road of end of life care for a loved one, please learn from our heartbreaking experience and avoid Luminary Hospice. When my father needed comfort, dignity, and professional support the most, this organization failed him, and our family on every level. Zero Continuity of Care; They assigned my father a primary nurse who was actually on vacation. Because of this administrative failure, he never even got to meet her. No Plan of Care; There was absolutely no established care plan in place for him until his final 24 hours of life. We were left to navigate his decline without the structure and medical guidance we were promised. Broken Promises & Missing Paperwork; We were told important paperwork would be mailed to us. To this day, we still have not received it. Hospice care is supposed to bring peace of mind, relief, and compassionate support during a family's most vulnerable moments. Instead, Luminary Hospice gave us administrative chaos, neglect, and unfulfilled promises.

We’ve been very satisfied with the care and collaboration this hospice team provides. Dave integrated seamlessly into our community built, great rapport with staff, and actively participate in our monthly activities. We would confidently recommend them to anyone considering hospice services.

Luminary Hospice has been a Godsend for our family. My mom has been in hospice care for approximately a month. In this short amount of time, they have helped us manage and cope with the loss of my mom. We met Andrea (Hospice Care Consultant) when mom was in the hospital and she sat with me, explained their services, and answered all of my questions. She made mom feel comfortable and addressed her fears and concerns amazingly. Upon arrival home, they were there to help mom get comfortable. Mom’s needs were minimal up until the final week of her life; which necessitated a deeper level of care. Mom’s nurse, Nurse Alison was one of the most amazing humans I have ever worked with. She was there for mom and me and the family during those painful final hours. Andrea, Alison and the entire crew were always responsive to my questions via phone call, text, or email. I asked a ton of them. Should you need hospice services, I recommend reaching out to Luminary. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with them. Luminary was responsive to all my requests and supported us all up until my beautiful momma passed away. I could not have done this without Nurse Alison.
